Padua is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, famous for its rich history, monuments, squares and different districts. If you decide to visit Padua by train with Italo, you won't be disappointed. Padua is the city that hosts one of the oldest universities in Italy, the University of Padua. The city is famous for its Primavera, an event that takes place every year from the end of March to the end of April attracting many tourists from all over the world. During your visit you can't miss the Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua, known as the Santo, one of the most important places of worship in the world. Then follow the tradition of a walk in the famous Piazza dei Signori, where you can find palaces of historical fame such as the Palazzo della Ragione and the Palazzo della Ragione Nuovo. You can reach Treviso with Italo train, the hometown of the historic Benetton fashion company and known as the "Little Venice". Come and discover the canals that cross the city, one of the most characteristic symbols, and stroll through the arcades of the Piazza dei Signori, where the waters of the Sile flow. Make a stop at the Basilica of San Nicolò, one of the oldest in Treviso, and admire its frescoed dome and crypt. Then continue your visit to the court of Palazzo dei Trecento, the seat of the municipality of Treviso, and the Civic Museum, where you can admire works of art dating back to the thirteenth century. If you are an architecture enthusiast, you can't miss the Church of San Francesco and its three Latin cross naves, with its fifteenth century paintings.
