Italo's High-Speed Train Fleet
Italo operates a fleet exclusively composed of Alstom trains, renowned as among the most advanced in Europe. Italo's AGV 575 high-speed trains exemplify cutting-edge technology, ensuring top-tier safety and comfort. Since December 2017, these AGVs have been complemented by the new Italo EVO trains, which set benchmarks in performance, reliability, and safety.

The train's architecture eliminates most of the vibrations and noise produced by movement onboard, cushions the movements between coaches, optimizes aerodynamics, and ensures optimal safety. The new Italo EVO was introduced in 2016, exemplifying outstanding performance, synonymous with reliability, and distinguished by its elegant design. The fresh front design boasts enhanced aerodynamics and provides space for external lights, making them not only functional but also visually appealing.
Similar to AGV trains, the interior of EVO trains is remarkably spacious, ensuring the comfort of all passengers. Likewise, they are carefully designed to comply with European safety standards, providing passengers with peace of mind during their journey.
The train is "green", built with recyclable materials and designed according to eco-sustainability criteria to ensure the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. Italo's trains emit just 44 grams of CO2 per kilometer traveled, making them one of the most eco-friendly transportation options compared to cars, planes, and trucks.
