Accessibility Statement
Italo S.p.A. is committed to making its mobile application accessible, in accordance with Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004. This accessibility statement applies to the Italo mobile application.
Compliance status
This mobile application is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Annex A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard, due to the non-compliance issues and/or exemptions listed below.
The accessibility assessment concerned only the features and content within the aforementioned mobile application.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons of non-compliance with Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004:
• The color contrast used during the ticket purchase process is not always adequate;
• Not all images and icons have alternative text or meaningful alternative text;
• Not all visible elements (buttons) ensure consistency between the visible label and the accessible name;
• In some forms (e.g. passenger data entry, registration forms, authentication in the mobile application), form fields do not have proper labels and focus is missing;
• On some pages, keyboard focus order is not predictable: visually hidden interactive elements may still receive focus;
• Some PDFs are not fully accessible;
• The date selection field in the ticket search form on the mobile application homepage is not selectable via keyboard navigation;
• There are no consistent mechanisms allowing users to skip directly to the main content of the page (skip links).
Italo S.p.A. is working with the support of accessibility experts in order to address the identified non-compliances and is also defining specific interim mitigation actions.
